Cal Editor aka A.J.
I started in the automotive industry in 1986. By the time I graduated high school I had passed all 8 of the ASE test and became ASE master certified. In 1987 I interned at a well-known machine shop and speed shop in the Pacific Northwest. I ended up working at that shop working on Computer Controlled Cars and EFI cars. I had a very good reputation and other shops sent us there problems. I worked out EFI & Computer Control issues for many other shops in the area. I worked through big cam drivability issues with SD and MAF cars way back in the early 90’s. I relocated to Wisconsin at the end of 1992. After moving to Wisconsin I found myself at a Chrysler dealer and taking a break from the performance side. I was a drivability and transmission technician. I worked on Mopars for about 6 years. In 1999 I started at a Chevy dealer and worked there for about 4 years until the dealership was purchased. I left to go to a standalone Cadillac dealer. While working at this Cadillac dealership I became GM World Class certified in 2009. At the end of 2009 I relocated to Rock Hill SC after my wife got a job in the Charlotte area. While I was at the Cadillac dealer I got back into the performance end of cars. I started OBD II tuning in 2006.
